Year 3 & 4 are invited to represent Bridgewater at a school’s cross country event, taking place at Bridgewater School. Parents are welcome to watch and we would also like volunteers to help.
Medals will be awarded for the first 3 individual runners to finish in each race and to the first 3 school teams (the first 3 children from each school to finish will count as the school team).

Children need to arrive 20 minutes before their race. You are free to go after your child’s race, but it would be nice if pupils who win medals could stay (or return) for the presentations at 11.35 approx. Parents are to remain responsible for children for the duration of the event.
The event will be held at Bridgewater School and the children need to come to the school field 20 minutes before their race.
What do they need?
Children should wear school PE/games kit and strong trainers. It is likely to be very muddy! Running spikes/football boots are allowed to be worn. A Team Bridgewater T shirt will be provided for the children to borrow on the day. Please bring warm clothes for the children to put on after their races.
Volunteers - Can you help?
To help the event run smoothly we do need a few extra pairs of hands. If you can spare some time it would be very much appreciated, please indicate on the form if you are able to help.
Refreshments will be on sale.
Parking will be on the playground and in the car park. Please be aware that parking is limited, so please consider car sharing or parking a distance away and walking. Please do not double park on the road by the school as this is a bus route and needs to be kept clear.
Please complete the online form by Friday 9th February 2018.
