Starting my teaching journey at Bridgewater Primary School has been a fabulous experience so far. I knew from the moment that I walked through the door I was entering a warm, friendly and creative learning environment.
The children and staff make each day different, every day new. I couldn't think of a job more rewarding and enjoyable!
My research project at University focused on risk taking and the importance of allowing children to take risks within their learning in order for them to become independent, resilient learners. I believe that the current Year 1 children that I teach demonstrate how to be confident and creative thinkers. I am sure they will experience the positive outcomes that come from risk taking and I hope to inspire children to take on any challenge they face in their day to day lives.
My friends and family would say I don't take life too seriously, I enjoy travelling the world, embarking on adventures and making people laugh.
