I have been a parent Governor since October 2016, and am a member of the Teaching and Learning Committee.

I am currently an innovation project manager at Plexal. Previously I was a Senior Programme Manager running government innovation programmes at the innovation foundation, Nesta,  have held senior strategy and policy roles in central government in both New Zealand and the UK, and as an internal auditor for the former airport operator BAA.

I was drawn to being a governor because being part of the Board was an opportunity to connect with what is happening at the school. I also wanted to give something back to the environment my daughter and her friends and classmates will be a part of for many years.

If there's one piece of advice I would pass on to children at Bridgewater it would be a quote from the anthropologist Margaret Mead "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
