I have been a teacher for 27 years, working mainly in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. I have taken on many roles from deputy head, key stage co-ordinators, maths, phonics, topic, art leads and at Bridgewater I am the English lead.
One of my most memorable moments so far at Bridgewater was our wonderful school trip to Walton on the Naze. Though it meant a lot of work and preparation we all had the most fantastic time. It was wonderful to see all the children so happy and engaged. Our school trips are a great opportunity for the children’s learning to be purposeful and come alive.
I work very hard to make learning fun for children and have high expectations of what they can achieve. In Year 2, I forward to my children continuing to develop their love for learning and develop their growth mindset.
