I have worked at Bridgewater Primary School since September 2014. Before this I worked as a teacher, across the primary age range, for the best part of 20 years. I have taught in many different schools from those in different countries, to inner city, to special schools and now to Hertfordshire to gain a range of experiences. I have found that wherever you go children are just the same and the joy and fun they bring to learning and the classroom is infectious.
My passion since leaving college has always been inclusion. I believe strongly in the inclusive environment enriching the lives of all children and adults involved. I came to Bridgewater as the SENDco and was in role for 4 years. Before that I was inclusion lead for an inner city London school with a provision for children with speech and language needs. I have loved the challenges these roles have bought me. However last year I returned to the classroom where I have loved being back with the children. It is a privilege to work with them. Bridgewater is a happy, energetic place to work in which I am very happy to be part of.
