Role on board: I joined the governing body in September 2017. I am a member of the complaints panel and the link governor for behaviour and outdoor learning.
Professional skills / background: I am currently a Senior Associate and Solicitor Advocate in the Dispute Resolution department at the international law firm Baker & McKenzie LLP, where I work on a variety of commercial litigation and arbitration matters. Before entering the workplace I studied law and French at Bristol University and spent a year studying French law in Bordeaux.
Interest in being a governor: I strongly believe in the importance of a good education and its ability to empower pupils. My decision to become a governor was driven by my desire to make a valued contribution to the school and, through this, the local community. Staff and pupils have been very welcoming and their passion and enthusiasm for the school is infectious. I look forward to working with everyone to contribute to the continued success of the school.
