Role: Parent governor from October 2021.

Professional skills/background: I have my own consulting company with a background in Science from both academic, major pharma and the charitable sector, focussing over the last 15 years in helping researchers develop new vaccines, drugs, diagnostics and medical devices. I am a Scientific Advisory Board member for a number of international funding organisations and an independent Non-Executive Director for the Biotech Growth Trust.

Interest in being a governor: I have two children who are very happy at Bridgewater and love the school's approach to balancing academic needs against their broader well-being and mental health, never as important as over recent years. I feel strongly about the importance of giving everyone an equal opportunity to a good well-rounded education, beyond the academic, and how the right school environment can help them develop the skill sets for life.
