Street Kicks is run by Amy Butterfield. She has over 20 years of street dance teaching experience working with children and adults of all ages and abilities, having taught mainly at Pineapple Dance Studios, Pineapple Performing Arts School, vocational colleges, and dance schools, and also working with the Metropolitan Police on various outreach programmes. She is passionate about creating a safe, positive and nurturing class environment, in which children can express themselves, support each other, celebrate their individuality, and have loads of fun doing it!

 

Amy is a familiar face here at Bridgewater, having delivered wellbeing workshops for us in the run up to Christmas last year. We are very excited to be working together to offer students a street dance lunch club where they can discover lots of different styles and popular dance moves. School linked performance opportunities, and 'watch weeks' will give families a chance to come and check out the dancers skills!
