Team AS Judo – New Club
Dear Parents,
We’re excited to announce the launch of a brand-new before-school Judo Club this September!
Led by Alan Scott, former British Judo Champion and Head Coach of Team A.S Judo, Train Like Champions Ltd, the club will give children the opportunity to learn Judo in a fun, positive and structured environment, right here at school.
More Than Just a Martial Art
Judo is about much more than learning throws and techniques. Our sessions are designed to help children develop:
- Confidence & self-belief
- Discipline & respect
- Fitness, strength & coordination
- Balance & body awareness
- Resilience & determination
- New skills and friendships
Sessions combine age-appropriate Judo techniques with games, fitness, challenges and plenty of fun, helping children develop both physically and personally.
No previous Judo experience is required, complete beginners are very welcome!
Before school
Open to: (Year 2 and above)
Time: (7.30-8.15am)
Starting: Wednesday 16th September -16th December
School’s Judo Membership – £32.50 per month
As part of launching our new Before school Judo club, we’re pleased to offer membership at a reduced school rate of £32.50 per month.
Membership is spread evenly across 12 months and includes:
✓ Weekly term-time Judo sessions
✓ A minimum of 30 sessions across the school year
✓ Regular opportunities to grade and progress through the schools Judo belt system
✓ Access to selected Team A.S Judo holiday camps and special events
✓ Coaching and development from the Team A.S Judo coaching team
What About a Judo Kit?
There’s no need to purchase a Judo kit before joining.
Team A.S Judo will provide a loan Judo kit when children first start, giving them the opportunity to settle into the club, experience Judo and make sure they are enjoying their sessions before parents need to purchase their own.
Once established in the club, children will have the opportunity to purchase their own official Team A.S Judo kit, which they can proudly wear for their weekly sessions, gradings and Team A.S Judo events.

Once we receive your details, we’ll confirm your child’s place and provide the information needed to set up their membership.
Try the First Session With Peace of Mind
We want children to join because they genuinely enjoy Judo.
If, for any reason, your child attends their first session and decides they do not wish to continue, simply let us know afterwards and any membership payment made will be refunded in full.
So there’s no pressure, just an opportunity to step onto the mat, have a go and discover Judo!
We’re really looking forward to welcoming a brand-new group of children to Team A.S Judo and helping them begin their Judo journey this September.
