We would love every member of our school community to travel to school in a healthy, environmentally friendly and community friendly way.  With over 450 children at the school, there isn't space for everyone to bring a car! 

We have an active school travel plan to encourage everyone - pupils, parents, childminders, grandparents, staff and local residents - to get involved in school travel with a view to improving safety and sustainability. We have built up our Modeshift travel awards (Modeshift is a national travel to school campaign) over the last few years, culminating in the school achieving an Outstanding Travel Plan Award at the start of the year. We are also incredibly proud to have been awarded Modeshift STARS Local Authority Primary School of the Year 2024/25 at the recent Regional Awards.
