PSHE challenges 19.1.24
Jigsaw Jo set us a challenge in PSHE. We had two weeks to achieve the challenge and we practised it at home. When we chose our challenges we thought about which challenge we would enjoy and which would be realistic for us to achieve. We thought about if we choose a challenge that is too easy, it isn’t really a challenge and if we choose something very difficult it might take a long time to achieve or it might end up being too difficult for us.
The challenge choices were –
- Learn the Macarena dance
- Learn to count in Mandarin Chinese from 1 to 10
- Learn to count in French in 2s from 0 to 20
- Memorise the poem ‘The Owl and the Pussy-cat’ by Edward Lear
We enjoyed learning our challenges and showing the rest of the class. We were all very impressed at how hard everyone had worked on their challenges. After the performances we all had a go at the Macarena and the Owl and the Pussy-cat.
