I have been teaching for over 22 years, beginning my career in education in secondary school before finding my passion in Early Years, where I have taught Reception for the last 15 years. I feel very lucky to work with young children and love seeing how much they grow in confidence, learn new skills and flourish during their first years at school.

Outside of teaching, I have two grown-up sons and a sausage dog. I love taking my dog on long walks, I also enjoy practising yoga, travelling, hiking and climbing and one of my proudest achievements was climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

I am very excited to be joining Bridgewater and becoming part of a school community whose child- centred ethos and values strongly reflect my own approach to Early Years education.
