School Lunches

Our school lunches are provided by Hertfordshire Catering Limited (HCL). Our Head Cook, Emma has been at Bridgewater since 2013, so she knows a thing or two about providing high quality, tasty, healthy lunches, as well as knowing our school inside and out!

We have a 3-week rotational menu, which changes twice a year. School lunches are free to pupils in Reception to Year 2 (under the Universal Free School Meals Scheme) or in years Reception to Year 6 if you are receipt of certain benefits (click here to check your eligibility now). For pupils in years 3-6 not eligible for Free School Meals a school lunch is charged at £3.30. Payment can be made on your Arbor parent app (please click here for further information on lunch payments).

HCL's primary school menus have the Sugarwise catering mark accredited to them. This means that the menu provides options that are low in 'free sugars'. Click here for more information.
