Resources for families to use at home
In the event of a whole or partial school closure, teachers will be posting work to the class pages on the website, from the second day of closure.
In the meantime, for families who are self-isolating, you can use these resources at home;
Websites that the children already use at school/at home
Mathletics and TT Rockstars– if your child has forgotten their user name or password, please contact your class teacher. Your class teacher’s email address is on the class page of the website.
Poisson Rouge – lovely resources for EYFS and Year 1, although there are some good French resources for older children. The children are used to using this in school and Poisson Rouge have created a temporary free log in for families to use at home. login: corona2020 password: corona2020

Oxford Owl Free levelled on-line reading books. You will need to create a log in and then you can access the e-books.
Maths Zone Free online maths games
Khan Academy Good for maths and computing for all ages. Note this uses the U.S. grade system but it's mostly common material.
BBC Bitesize Learning resources for KS1 and KS2.
BBC Learning This site is old and no longer updated, but there is a lot of useful archived material on here. No TV licence is required, except for content on BBC iPlayer.
Scratch and Scratch Junior Creative computer programming. Scratch Junior is suitable for younger children.
CBeebies Radio Listening activities for the younger children.
Nature Detectives A lot of these can be done in a garden.
Geography Games World geography games
Blue Peter Badges The children can earn a Blue Peter Badge. If you have a stamp and a nearby post box.
Red Ted Art Easy arts and crafts for younger children

DK Find Out Activities and quizzes
Twinkl Activities can be printed from this site and a fee is usually charged, but they are offering a month of free access to parents in the event of school closures.
