The Haven at Bridgewater
The future.......
Bridgewater Primary School is delighted to announce plans to completely transform the ‘caretaker’s bungalow’. We’d like to thank the local community again, for supporting us to ensure that our children and future children benefit from the opportunity to utilise the front of the school grounds.
Overall plans for the area at the front of school are to:
- Knock down the existing building
- Build a new sustainable multipurpose centre (The Haven at Bridgewater)
To make this a reality we need to raise a huge sum - £65,000. We need your help!
The Haven will be used for much needed special education and disability (SEND) rooms for 1:1 teaching and quiet spaces. It will also be an additional space for use by Rialize, to extend their wrap around and holiday care, which will relieve traffic congestion at drop off and pick up times.
Aside from these school needs, The Haven has other possibilities for multi-use across the school and beyond. All children at the school will benefit from the building in their time at Bridgewater. The space will include a classroom sized room, two meeting rooms and toilet facilities.
The Haven will be funded in part from school reserves, but we would like to make the building the best it can be, which is why we are fundraising.
