Happy New Year to you all! W.B 9.1.22
How lovely it is to be back together again learning and having fun.
We shared our Christmas news and wrote thank you letters to father Christmas for our presents. We used our phonics to write on our own.
We have been reading the Little Red Hen story and we are creating our own Pizza Express restaurant. We are really good at taking orders and Mrs Beaumont is getting very full with Pepperoni Pizza! It is quite expensive though. £100 for a pizza!
We have written our own menus and we even deliver pizza.
We have made our own story map and we have written our very own books of the story with the authors name on the front over. We have made puppets and we have been making our own bread. We had a carpet picnic. It was delicious!
We tried some Hot Seating where we ask the Little Red hen questions- " How do you cut corn?" " You thresh it" How did you feel when the animals didn't help you?" "sad"
We have been doing some careful counting which is important when making sure that each Pizza has the right number of Pepperonis on it.
As well as all this we have been building towns, model making, painting, drawing and reading! We have had such fun and can't wait for next week.
