Associate Governor

Professional skills/background:
I worked in education for over 28 years, mostly in challenging primary schools after
qualifying in early years education. I worked overseas for 7 years during Covid in all
through schools which gave me further insight into the different stages of a child’s
development. I currently work for British Airways.

Interest in being a Governor:
Being a school leader for 18 years has afforded me many different experiences of
the unseen work that goes into running a school. I hope to bring some of this
knowledge to Bridgewater in my role as a governor and I want to help in the local
community. Both my children were taught here.
