I have been a teacher across Early Years and KS1 for over 8 years now! Throughout my teaching career I have been a School Improvement Lead and PE Lead. I enjoy keeping active and strongly believe that regular physical activity positively impacts children and their well-being. 

My experience in Early Years reinforced the importance of nurturing independent exploration and problem-solving through child initiated play. I have seen firsthand the positive impact this has on both academic and social outcomes for children. I am excited and passionate about this continuing into Year 1, promoting critical thinking, collaboration and independent learning. These approaches match the learning environment with Bridgewater and the commitment to provide hands-on, exploratory learning that encourages independence and curiosity.

Last year I enjoyed some time out of the classroom, as I became a mum, to a very smiley baby boy.
