Caroline Lee, Teacher - Year 2 (Swift)
My journey with Team Bridgewater started back in 2013 when my daughter was among the first intake of reception children.
Fast forward a few years and I was a regular parent volunteer, reading with a small group of children every week. I enjoyed it so much that when a vacancy as a Teaching Assistant came up, I jumped at the chance! A bit of a change from the charity fundraising world that I had been working in! It was possibly one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I began helping out with PE lessons and sports clubs, which reignited my love for sport, and I went on to complete my Primary P.E. Teacher Qualification. The next, natural step for me, after 4 years of working as a Teaching Assistant, was to complete my teacher training.
I am very passionate about children's education, especially after working at an international children's charity and visiting projects in Tanzania, where giving children the right to an education was a key focus.
In my spare time I enjoy going on adventures and taking on challenges. I also love swimming, going for walks and reading, as well as a good sing and dance!
I am really looking forward to continuing my adventure with Team Bridgewater!
