As a teacher, I have made Early Years my focus, motivated by working with young children, who are full of inquisitiveness, boundless energy and enthusiasm. Building on this I was delighted to become EYFS Phase Lead in September 2022.

I am passionate about the Bridgewater ethos of child initiated learning; we know each child is an individual and want to support them making their next steps in a nurturing environment. Along with the rest of the Early Years Team, I build strong relationships with the children and partnerships with parents, as we support the children on their learning journey.

In my personal life I am the mum of two boys, I believe this helps my understanding of the many challenges that children may face but more importantly, how they flourish. 

I am an avid reader and enjoy sharing this passion in class and in the school library. I am also a runner, I aim to be a strong positive role model for our children.
