Faye Hine - Year 3 (Kestrel)
I have been a teacher for over 25 years, teaching in seven different schools. I am returning
to Bridgewater after a couple of years and am excited to be back. Bridgewater School is a special place for me, my own children, now nearly at the very top of Ashlyns, were in the first ever Reception year. I first came as SENDCo, a post which I held for 5 years and then missed the classroom so much that I returned to class teaching.
I have taught across all primary key stages and every year group taking on various roles including leadership. I taught in special schools for many years, teaching children with specific speech and language needs. When I worked in London I was an Advanced Skills Teacher for the London Borough of Barnet in which I spent a day a week in an outreach role, modelling and training maths teaching.
Since leaving Bridgewater I have been working as a learning officer for The Wildlife Trust, inspiring young people to find a love of nature. I hope some of my passions and interests will rub off on the children, as I am excited to share my knowledge and learn from them also.
I my spare time I love to walk my dog and make things out of clay!
It is a privilege to be able to teach children and I look forward to working with families to ensure the children to enjoy their learning and thrive at Bridgewater School
