I have been working in Reception since I started my teaching career and it has always been a pleasure watching children blossom during their first years at school. My favourite movie Matilda is what inspired me to want to be a caring, kind and fun teacher who shows interest in what children want to explore, as well as what they need to know. I truly believe that our Bridgewater values are exactly that. It is even more exciting learning new things from children too as they are what makes teaching so enjoyable.

Outside of school, I love to spend time with my family and friends and travel the world with Mr Islam. I enjoy taking part in different activities and have been getting to know Hertfordshire as I moved from Teesside just 3 years ago.

I am looking forward to another exciting year and continuing my journey with Bridgewater and the EYFS team.
