In English we have been reading the book 'And Tango Makes Three' which is about a penguin family. We created artwork inspired by the penguins in the book. We started by using paint for our background. We chose a colour and blended different shades from dark to light. Whilst this was drying we drew an outline of a penguin, we then went over the outline using a black oil pastel and used our fingers to smudge the edges. We carefully cut out the penguin and stuck it to the background.  We love how they turned out!
