Outdoor Learning Day
In Year 1, we began our day with outdoor phonics, writing on the concrete with chalk. As part of our work on diversity, we drew around each other's bodies and wrote words inside the outlines describing what makes each person unique. We then created bug hotels using plant pots, filling them with sticks, stones, and straw. We arranged everything nicely inside to ensure the bugs get their money's worth!
